Priscila was born on February 24, 1983
in Monterrey, Nuevo León. A metropolitan city located in the northeastern part of México. She is the oldest child
and has a younger brother. Before she entered the Nuestra Belleza Nuevo León or the Nuestra Belleza México
competitions, she was attending the University of Monterrey where she was majoring in Communications. While attending
University of Monterrey, she was working as a part-time runway model. Priscila became a foreign exchange student and
attended San Diego State University for a year, where she got the opportunity to master her English.
In 2004, Priscila entered the Nuestra Belleza Nuevo León beauty pageant. In this pageant a young woman is selected to
represent her state for the national competition, Nuestra Belleza México. That year Priscila did not win the state title,
as she placed as first runner up. This of course didn't stop her, she was determined to try it out once more.
A year later, Priscila decided that she would try once again at winning the crown for Nuestra Belleza Nuevo León. This time
it proved to be her year, as she did win the title and therefore got the opportunity to represent her state in the Nuestra
Belleza México national competition. The Nuestra Belleza México competition was held in Aguascalientes, México on September 2,
2005. This time Priscila not only got the chance to represent her state, but also became Nuestra Belleza México 2005. This title
gave her the opportunity to represent México in Miss Universe 2006.
Right after winning the title Priscila moved to México City to start her training that would allow her to improve and prepare her
for Miss Universe. Along with her training schedule, Priscila also participates in social and charity events with the Nuestra Belleza
Organization and with the Televisa Foundation, which helps abused children.
On July 23, 2006, Priscila along with 85 contestants were competing for the Miss Universe crown. Priscila had a very steady and outstanding
performance. She did not make it to the final five, but she did make it as one of the final ten contestants. Priscila is amongst the ten most
beautiful women in the universe.
Priscila is now back in México, finishing and preparing for what will be her last weeks as Nuestra Belleza México 2005. On September 2, 2006,
Priscila will be handing over her crown to the new winner. What will Priscila be doing after her reign is over, we will have to wait and see
what this Mexican beauty will be doing in the future.
